Also, with the eyepiece being further back when its in the adapter, will this

gives the same infinity focusing issues and other t-adapters used with some newtonians

Is this a bad thing i have to say i didn't understand a word of it :)

I have another one employing a similar principle by Scopetronix. This unit includes a Barlow lens in a cell which screws into the nosepiece if there are in-focus issues. Most standard Barlows have a similar removable lens cell if you need to try it.

Aha! That's useful to know. My cheap 2x barlow has a removable lens, mind you its not very good. But it's worth a go next time I try it out.
