What would be another good nebula to try that is about the size of the orion nebula?

Hi QM - How about the Monkey Head Nebula NGC 2174 Bags of Ha in there to give your camera a good road test. Looks like you have good views of Orion so it should be in view for you. Your 200P with your 350D has a FOV of 1.27 x 0.85 so I think it will fit in nicely (think its about 0.66 degrees - but could be wrong there)

Cheers John

Cheers Yes indeedy, those screws are tiny had to use a big magnifying glass. Cant wait to get out there again. What would be another good nebula to try that is about the size of the orion nebula?

Maybe you can try IC410 (Tadpoles), the heart nebula is still available too. But time is running out for MW targets as galaxy season is upon us (and hence less Ha to grab).
