Hi from west lothian. I am very new at this have loved the stars from a young age. Any way I am Brian live close to Edinburgh I've just got myself a celestron 127 having fun playing about the now. Was looking at Jupiter last night but when focusing in I get the shadow of cross from the scope is this normal ? Thanks.

Welcome to SGL, Brian!

It is normal to see the vanes of the diagonal holder when the scope is out of focus. Don't worry!
