Hi all,

Greetings from the southeastern part of the US. Located just outside of Music City, Nashville.

Currently getting by with a Celestron C6 on a HyperTuned CG-5 with an Orion SSAG, Orion 50mm guidescope, and an EOS 1100D non-mod.

Enjoy both viewing and AP. Been doing some version of the former since I can remember, quite new to the latter.

Here's one of the most recent learning experiences:

Looking forward to sharing and learning. :)

Welcome to the SGL, Forums, there's a shedload of people from over the pond...:)

Good to know, thanks!

Hi and welcome I like the image and I love Nashville - spent a vacation there a while back - I should think you have some great skies.

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed the city! It's certainly not a bad place to live. :D

Skies aren't horrible here. It's in a red/yellow area, but it's usually not TOO tough to find a place with minimal "immediate" pollution (streetlights, cars, etc)....and I can be somewhere where M31 is naked eye within an hour's drive or so.
