Hello everyone. My name is Mike and I'm from Yorkshire. Having toyed with the idea for a long time I think now is a good time for me to get involved in astronomy, hopefully I can fulfil some of my long time desires when it comes to learning more about what's in the sky!

I hope absorb some of your experience and expertise by information osmosis as time goes on.

Have you checked out any astronomy clubs in or near Leeds?

I haven't yet. Definitely will do though - seems a great way to check out what equipment people have and to learn more. Curiously there's no university astronomy society so far as I can tell!
