skywatcher1701
Have you got the correct power lead?
Gunnar
Also check the battery . L.E.D starts to flash when voltage is low.
Daniel-K
yes i bought the lead from FLO and have never had an issue untill now i was thinking that maybe the power pack i have isnt strong enough, im using the smaller skywatcher power pack
steppenwolf
It sounds very much as though your power pack is dying - a flashing LED is evidence of a power issue and the leads from FLO are more than adequate for the task so it is unlikely to be the lead. blinky
Yep - Power issue, low voltage, if your sure the cable is OK then check the power pack. If I remember correctly, you can check the voltage getting to the mount with the handset, there is a menu option to show the voltage.
Daniel-K
thanks guys looks like it is the power pack
rightguard
just one other thing if i may - the batteries are held very tightly in the holder and ive found that sometimes they can get knocked away from the contacts and get held there, thus losing power and causing a coronary! red dwalf
Definitely power issue, my maplins power losses voltage very quickly which causes the red led to flash, I put it on charge when using it on the mount and it then works fine
