M3 LRGB *re-edit*

A late start last night.

I started setting up at 10:30pm and planned to hit NGC4490 Started the first run at around 11:20pm when the usb readout dots I always get in the subs turned into solid bands.

It took about an hour of unplugging and plugging in to sort it ( very hi teck stuff ).

Started the run again and after 2 x 5 min subs I realised the scope was going to hit the tripod in about 20 mins so I scraped that idea and went for a glob as time was getting on.

L= 12@180 sec's +6 @ 80 sec's

RGB 10 @ 80 sec's

My first glob this year and my first glob with the HX916.

Image reduced to 70% becuase it looks better.

I was not happy with the bakground noise in this image.

So i went back to the start and had another go at processing it.

Happy with this one.
