It's certainly a beast of a scope. Really would need a decent solid pier and a dome observatory to stop the wind blowing that huge tube around. It's probably an achromatic lens given the f15 long focal length?

Almost certainly.

Having struggled to find a really stable mount for a 6" F/8 achromat I can appreciate just how solidly an F/15 of the same aperture is going to need to be mounted - I reckon 70+kg of that weight will be the mount.

It will be interesting to see what it goes for though

He does seem to have sold plenty of astro scopes and bits in the past. Would have preferred to have seen a few more details on the objective etc given that he has some knowledge of astronomy - maybe the silence tells you all that you need to know.
