Nice photos but i'm sure i've seen shooting stars and planets and the milky way, unless i've just got so much dust on my primary mirror and i'm a bit deluded.

Erm.. Long exposure shots as seen with the naked eye? Don't think anyones eyes are THAT sensitive.

Eh call me daft but didn't that very paper complain about streetlights being switched off but now seems to be complaining about light pollution unless they just want everyone to emigrate to Australia and leave them in charge ?
