Witch's nebula (this time from a dark site) 2-7-11

Went to Astro camp over the weekend. 2 nights of cloud but the last night was completely clear (although short :))

I am very pleased with the difference a dark sky has made compared to my recent image of the same subject done at home where it is light polluted.

Thanks George, Uranium, Martin, Swag and Rich.

Where exactly was it taken from?

Martin, it was taken from the countryside in Rother Valley Kent. Not the darkest of skies, but a lot darker than where I live.

Did you use your new peltier cooling thingie?

Not yet Swag72m, still waiting for my new Flattener as the current one doesn't fit it. However the temperature was between 6 & 8 so a lot better than recent weeks at night.

Have you tried stacking the new data with some of the subs you took last time?
I haven't as yet as I wasn't sure if the light polluted ones would degrade the decent ones.
