Apologies for the cloudy skies - it's all my fault!

The new telescope law of rain has not reached my area and I have open skies! However, at my latitude,.. I'll have to wait till midnight for inky black skies for any serious viewing!

Congratulations on your new telescope and may the law of rain be broken!

Thank you all.

Had an hour with the scope last night as the skies cleared - awesome, just awesome to see so much from our garden (street lights, neighbours lights etc).

Split Mizar, saw M13 - so tired today though - does time pass much more quickly when observing thru a new scope?

Welcome to SGL Chris!

I'm only new myself and I purchased a new EQ3 GOTO mount and brought not only rain, but a rather heavy snow storm too, the first in 5 years in my town in Aus.

I have a perfect cure, run out and spend a heap of money on a new waterproof outfit (I brought one for the motorbike) and it won't rain for months. LOL.
