Have now joined CAS and have attended a number of meets and gathered lots of info. Like most people starting we all want one that does all, and that doesn't exist.

I am drawn toward the Heritage 130P for a start, lots of light and some decent reviews, perhaps later a Mak Cass, but thats for later when funds allow.

Don't have a fixed budget but it is limited and the above 130P ticks a few 'starter' boxes.

hi and welcome, for a compact scope try the sky waycher 127mm mak, auto track. (see my avi pic top left) i find it a very good scope with motorised axis, the cost £300+.
