Has any one come across any old reviews on the

Lumicon

Type A Nebula Filter

or has any one ever used one

Transmission parameters on the case are as follows

HeII 469nm 90%

H18 486nm 90%

OIII 501nm 95%

Halpha 656nm 85% f10 89% f5

I have not used one but did a search on the forum with no results so had a look on the net and this came up, you may have seen it already but just in case

I can't find a reference on the Lumicon site to a "Type A" filter. I suspect that it's a UHC filter but if you have a link to where you've found this we might be able to tell you more. As BrantUK says if you post this in equipment help as you'll get many more replies. :)

Thank you every one for all the welcome’s to this site.

I have quite a few telescopes

I got a 6inch dob , an 8inch dob and a 10inch dob all home made

I have a CG-4 German Equatorial mount that I can mount my 127mm mac and a 100mm ed refractorctor

I have a Celestron Nexstar 5

And a Celestron Nexstar 4 se and that one I had modified the mount so I can mount other scopes or cameras on

I have a old critron 8in cat and a home made 100mm f6 refractor scope and a 90mm refractor and still got my first 60mm tasco too
