If so then the answer probably has to be no. The thickness and the refractive index are what makes the coating anti-reflective, therefore same material but different thickness is no longer an anti-reflective coating. They could go for single layer not multi-layer.

Not at all. I've got a Telrad, just got to get some batteries for it :D. I manage without, not by looking through the RACI, but just above it to see where I'm pointing, I then look through the finder to see where I am. Works amazingly well.
