  1. Great post, with great information and useful links. Maybe this one http://www.atlasoftheuniverse.com/plannebs.html Could be added (100 brightest planetaries)
  2. I realise I made a typing error. It should have read: CERTAINLY!!
  3. True, but some have a lesser decibel range Anyway, I think that should read "We should all do BB impressions"
  4. Tone deaf or just deaf after me doing my Brian Blessed at full power impersonation?
  5. Just spotted Jacques (C/2014 E2, that is)

    1. YKSE

      YKSE

Nice! I hope the sky stops crying here

  6. They are awesome, aren't they? I remember we had a long PM exchange about them. Glad you still like them
  7. LS35/ST80 Frankenscope coming along nicely

  8. You will get to supernova if you keep contributing, no worries
  9. I bought one of the 20mm "Celestron" (no brand on the barrel or box at all) Plossls for 15 euro (new) for the kids mini-Dob, and I must say, it is pretty good (even at F/4.3), and excellent for the money.
  10. The eyecup of the old LVs was really the only think I could find to fault them (I had the LV7 and LV9 for years). The SLV series seems very nice indeed.
  11. Just added a WO dielectric diagonal to the case. I soldone when I got my Dennkmeier filter-switch diagonal but that will not come to focus with the 80mm F/6. The 2" Amici prism does reach focus, but I do not always like to use that. Still plenty of space. Note that the case does not contain my MV24mm or WO zoom, as I keep them in the solar case I take to work frequently
  12. When looking for a decent wide field, check out the MaxVision 24mm 68 deg. It punches WAY above its price tag.
