  1. We also have William Optics M48 adapters ? William Optics DSLR M48 Rings
  2. Would this not be a good solution: M48 Camera Adapter If yes then we already stock them, in Sony fit too ? Steve
  3. Please don’t be concerned about posting a link. If a competitor has a useful adapter that is not already listed at FLO then we need to know so we can add it to our stock ? I am impressed you are speaking with William Yang. I don’t think I have had the pleasure. Steve
  4. Welcome to SGL ? You are right. Our advice was wrong. It makes no sense. I don't know why and can't ask my colleague because it's 10pm Friday night and we're closed. I will when we reopen Monday. Yours was a routine question and the advice was so clearly wrong that I can only guess my colleague was handling several conversations at the same time and lost the thread. Sorry. Steve
  5. The CEM25p should be arriving later this month. We will contact them again in the hope we can be more precise. I started this thread because it is becoming clear delays are not unusual. We will do our very best to post reliable info regarding availability. FWIW our first incoming stock order was huge! After it arrives and ongoing most of the mounts should be here in our warehouse available for overnight delivery. At least that’s the plan... 🙂 Thank-you for your patience, Steve
  6. Yes ? We have focused first on adding the mounts but also have a long list of accessories to add. If there is something you need that’s not already listed please email for a price & ETA. Steve
  7. Earlier this year FLO became an authorised iOptron UK dealer. Prior to this there was only one (that stocks a wide selection) and since we came onboard there is now another. So currently you have three iOptron UK retailers jostling for your attention 🤗 Pricing: Every week we check competitor prices then move ours up/down to match whichever is lowest. This ensures we are competitive but it can be a problem for someone who has placed an order at FLO then sees our price change prior to dispatch. Rest assured if this happens and you are out of pocket we will refund the difference. Promise 🙂 Availability: As a result of their focus on design and engineering iOptron have enjoyed significant sales growth for four consecutive years! Unfortunately significant growth puts a significant strain on manufacturing. The iOptron CEM60 and iOptron SkyGuider Pro are of course bestsellers but we now also have the newly released iOptron CEM40 (the first to feature iOptron's next generation design). Currently iOptron are prioritising the new CEM40. So far, they have supplied only single CEM40s to dealers who required one for an event but we expect they will make more available later this month. The CEM60 and SkyGuider Pro are both currently delayed due to a shortage of individual components. Fortunately we already have a quantity of StarGuider Pro in stock but we don't know when they will release more CEM60. We will post again in this thread as soon as we do. Hope that helps, Steve
  8. The latest info regarding availability can be found here ? You are worrying too much. So far, Alan's RedCat is the only one returned to us. HTH, Steve
  9. If it has a fault you should contact your supplier for service. If you purchased it from FLO then you contact FLO ? Does your RedCat have a problem? HTH, Steve
  10. There is one on it's way to FLO 🙂 When it arrives my colleague, Grant, will assess it with a view to FLO stocking it later this year. (Grant's NEQ6 is already upgraded with a Rowan belt mod kit). EDIT: The Rowan Astronomy Zero Backlash Worm Mount for Sky-Watcher NEQ6 is now in stock. HTH, Steve
  11. I thought it might be. I remember someone with your name buying an EQ8 a while ago ? Sorry to hear your EQ8 requires adjustment. It sometimes happens when a large/heavy mount is delivered via courier. Please email if you would like help. We will happily arrange collection. Steve
  12. My colleague tried it and found Es' has adjusted most of the aberration out but a little remained so Es asked us to send it to him again. I think he is enjoying finding his way around this new telescope. As are we ? Will let you know when it is available. Promise. Steve
  13. I am confident you will be pleased ? ADM doesn't really do bling. Bling is more a EU thing. We like colourful anodising and shiny surfaces. By comparison, ADM's kit is quite dour. Well engineered and highly functional, but dour. I remember years ago when FLO approached Anthony (ADM is Anthony Davoli Machining) about becoming a stockist. He was concerned his products might not be "pretty enough" for the EU market. Fortunately his products have sold well in the EU, which is good because I don't think (shiny knobs aside) he has made any attempt to pretty them up. Steve
  14. Just a quick update to say Es did find "a little coma" in @symmetal's RedCat. Fortunately he was able to adjust it out so all is good. We are going to use this opportunity to play with assess it our ourselves with a camera under the night sky. HTH, Steve
  15. I disagree. Taped seams are more commonplace because they are cheaper to manufacture. Not because they are better. A taped seam's waterproofing characteristics last only as long as it takes for the glue to fail whereas properly designed and engineered waterproof stitching will last the lifetime of the product. (My colleague, James, has been protecting his outdoor pier/mount with the same Telegizmos 365 series cover for over six years. My colleague, Grant, is using the one you returned to us last year). Fortunately there is room in the marketplace for both methods and if someday we choose to stock a budget range of telescope covers then they would likely have taped seams Steve
  16. I remain surprised Your Telegizmos cover is still the only one returned to us for leaking. I just found your email to us in which you quoted Bob @ Telegizmos advice to you regarding your 365 series cover: "... the seams are sealed without tape. The first step is the inner solar liner is "pulled" into the seams during the sewing process. The second step is the type of thread we use...it's a UV treated nylon that chemically reacts to a sealing chemical that expands the thread to fill any voids left that the solar liner penetration misses. Actually very effective. But oddly, not opaque...as in light can be seen through it. The track record of the 365 Series over the 12+ years they have been produce backs up the success for this process. But...as with all manufactured products...a failure can occur. Your description sounds like the seam(s) has stretched and thus opened." HTH, Steve
  17. Hi John, you’ve tagged me into the conversation. Can I help? Steve
  18. So far all the ones we have seen and sold have had the silver machined metal knob. Steve
  19. The RedCat has Petzval optics so, if you haven't already got one, you need only a M48 to T2 adapter to attach your ZWO camera. The RedCat is intended for astrophotography but we hear WO are planning to release a diagonal sometime in April (they say). HTH, Steve
  20. The ASIair is continually improving, we are big fans and the latest update adds in support for a number of DSLR cameras!
  21. Others have found the same so we recently added this note to our product description page: * Some customers have found William Optics' Vixen style dimension a little too narrow for their mount's saddle so you might need to fit a different dovetail. HTH, Steve
