I don't think they are open Sunday either. Sky-Watcher's UK dustributer sold out two weeks ago so I am surprised to hear Telescope House have stock remaining. Although, TH are owned by Bresser GmbH (Germany) so perhaps they sourced some from them. However they did it, congratulations on having found one ? Steve

There is another tripod available for the new AZ5 mount, it isn't currently imported but we could request it. It is the same as the EQ5/HEQ5 tripod but with a different top casting (no AZ pin) and a 3/8" centre bolt instead of metric. The pricing would the same as the EQ5/HEQ5 tripod, so about £105/£110. There isn't an extension tube available for it though. Would there be much of a demand? Steve

The Sky-Watcher AZ Goto SynScan Handset Cable will connect a hand-controller to an AZ GTi mount. HTH

Unfortunately the next shipment is 6-8 weeks away, late-Sept/early-Oct They must have under-estimated it's popularity.

We should have an ETA soon

Unfortunately the new AZ GTi mount has sold out. There are no more remaining at the distributors warehouse either. There are some AZ GTi bundles remaining but the mount-only option will be unavailable until the next shipment. We have requested an ETA. This situation affects all UK retailers.

This is something you need to discuss with your supplier, Mike. Most now match our 30-day return policy, or will if pushed, so if you decide you want to change you can probably return it. HTH, Steve

I doubt that, probably just a one-off. Though it is still early days none of the AZ5 sold here at FLO have misbehaved and feedback has been positive. Just ask your supplier for a replacement Steve

Thank-you for your PM, we found several orders from you but unfortunately not one for a Star Adventurer. It appears you purchased that elsewhere. Most ecommerce retailers auto-email order confirmations, try searching your emails for 'Star Adventurer'. When contacted your supplier might baulk at it's age but perhaps be persuaded to source replacement parts for you. HTH, Steve

The Star Adventurer arrived in the UK Oct 2014, nearly three years ago, so it isn't quite as old as you think, unless you purchased it from a dealer in another country. Please PM me your surname and postcode, I will then know if it's one of ours HTH, Steve

Star Adventurers aren't supposed to do that, did you purchase it from FLO?

The AZ GTi mount was revealed Friday, we have ordered several so are expecting a delivery tomorrow/Wednesday but we are also having them drop-shipped direct to customers from Sky-Watcher's UK warehouse so those who have already placed their order will receive them Wednesday. From Wednesday onwards they will be in our warehouse so available for overnight delivery. HTH, Steve

So far Sky-Watcher are offering it bundled with the Skymax-102 (likely £385), Skymax-127 (£495) Maksutovs and the 130Ps Newtonian (£365). They will be added to our website soon We were first to announce the AZ Pronto and AZ5 but the AZ GTi was released Friday while we were all in the warehouse stock-taking. Today is Monday so we are focused on clearing the backlog of weekend orders but I have managed to add the mount to our website, will probably add the bundles tomorrow. HTH, Steve
