Yes mine were set to Enabled. I'll be watching for the next Windows update to see if it resets it. I got there by a little different menu so here is what I had if anyone wants to see. Tom

Hi All and especially Janos. I m having or was and are now again having similar issues. Using my Atik 11000 and SGP, the Cameras cooling would go from the -20/-20 display for Set point v Current reading would drop to 0/0 and any download would go on indefinitely. This would happen every 40-60 mins approx. Olly had replaced the USB cable for me and it seemed to work for a while, then it happened again 2 nights ago. And in what seems like the reason I had to get Olly to power up my PC as it was down. It only seems to go down if the power is off from the site / UPS for 8hrs plus, or if there was a Windows update. Time for me to check the USB in the device manager. Thanks for the tip Julian and Steve. Blank blank Windows.... Tom.

Thanks for the replies. You have all mentioned some interesting thoughts on this. The brain does seem to fill in a lot of missing information. The lack of sensitivity of night vision too is another topic. A friend came with me to go Aurora watching and she could not see the bright Neon Green when it locked of. She only saw the dimmer Yellow and Purple. To her all the green was just grey. I googled it later and it seems that 15% of the population has the same issue, of lack of green sensitivty at night. Hi All I saw this and variations of this on social media this. Its another interesting brain teaser. I thought it was good example of how binning works. The idea of using small bits of colour to make the brain fill in the gaps. Is this pic black and white or colour. What do you think, could I use it in a talk to describe binning? Tom

This may no longer be an issue. I managed two nights in a row where it ran all the frames without an error. In the Camera Tab, in profile or equipment, I cant remember which one, the settings button opens up the Atik /ASCOM screen. There was a High Priorty box there that I checked. After that it seems to be ok. I have a funny feeling that I used to check High Priority in AstroArt when guiding with an Atik ccd too. Only another 7 problems to fix so Tom

Hi Alan, Thanks for your reply. I need to check the Total frames complete v Progress total, although I m pretty sure it says sequence complete, and then 11/12 for example on one of those bar graphs. It normally posts the error before it gets to the Downloading, then after the 30s download time it just settles the guider and begins the next frame countdown. I m using the Atik 11000 ccd. Its old now, but I had the latest drivers on it last Aug, I'll check but I doubt this has changed since then. I had thought about the time constraints too, but on both occasions the imaging time finished long before dawn, or a required flip. I m attaching a screen shot of the log when it errored last night on a 30min initial sub. I'll get the full log later and post it too. On this occasion it posted the error after 1500s of the 1800s had elapsed. Thanks Tom.

Hi SGL, I m new-ish to SGP and m currently tarting a new sequence every time its clear, and I m baby sitting the imaging as I m just starting out remote imaging. What is happening is that when I start a sequence, the first sub fails to download, then the sequence carries on and collects the next frames in the list. Then it posts a message after the second last frame to say Sequence Complete, when ther eis one more left. So I collect x-2 frames on each sequence where x is whatever amount I select. Has anyone seen this before? I have the latest SGP version installed. Thank Tom.

I m having issues with mine, but they are different to your problems. The stars look pinched and distorted. I wonder is something too tight, or maybe a part protruding into the light path? Do you have a reducer in the path etc..? The light houses are familiar with the N version, I dont know which one your is. I dont see those lighthouses around the ED versions though. Tom

Hi SGL, I am having some USB issues on my Eagle 2 with the connection to the CCD in SGP (firmware version 2.3). The temp tab shows 0 degrees, or the camera just wont download an image in SGP. Anyway there is a firmware update available, which you can download from the Primaluce download page. There are no instructions though on how to do it. So after chatting to Primaluce this is what I did that worked. In the Eagle Primaluce folder on the C drive, make a folder, and call it Old Firmware. Drag the EagleManager2.exe application into the old folder. Leave the other files in the folder. Copy the downloaded update zip file to the Primaluce folder, and extract the files. Copy the new Eagle2Manager.exe into the existing Primaluce folder, and restart the Eagle. You should see the Primaluce looking like this, and then the Eagle displaying the new firmware version, 2.7

Just did the firmware update Kris. Thanks for your suggestion. I was getting the USB on my camera hanging up, and it would not download an image, or the cooler would just show 0 degrees. Now i have to test it though. Tom
