    So contact lenses sidn't work for me. I spent 30 minutes in spec savers trying to get them out, didn't bother with the putting back in. Glasses it is, then :/

      Canon 300mm f4 L IS, was going to go for the 400mm 5.6 but has no IS.

      As I have a Teleconverter it only make sense to go for the 300mm.

      I did get the 70-200 f4 IS in the end, no astro with it yet but plenty have.

      I will be getting a second hand 200mm 2.8 L at some point as I really don't fancy taking a 1K lens out in the dark where I could trip and drop it.

      Good thing with camera lenses is that they are more portable and you can also use them for normal photography.

      What mount were you planning on using the camera on?
