    Consistently outwitted by squirrels today. They either scamper off at the first sound of my approach or loiter in the Sun like a marauding Messerschmitt.

    Massive school boy error. Come all the way down to Exmoor for the dark skies, setup up the CG5-GT, went to plug in the power and find out I left the power lead at home.

      I know, I was taking the pee. The way you worded it for anyone that doesn't know sounds like the bulb has as packed up in the fridge causing you to have fridge darks or dark fridge.

      'L' lenses aren't cheap but it's worth it for the quality.

      I'm fed up of buying cheap then having to buy twice.

      Yeah as I will have the best of both worlds, night and day photography.

      Going to wait until I get somewhere with garden then purchase an imaging scope like the 130pds as I already have the mount.

      No, not really. The 80 has the focal length but it is heavier but the ZS71 is faster and more portable which I need. And yes, the WO is a sexy looking scope.
