    What a solar transit that could have been! Out imaging the Sun when I hear a big noise up in the sky. I could see five jets in formation, heading vaguely towards the Sun. Hit the record button just in case... All nine jets as it turned out missed the Sun, what a shame! I guess that was the Red Arrows then!

      Yes Luke - heading for Sywell near to me but I missed them! I really wanted to see the two Lancasters but they were grounded due to the wind.

      Thanks, Kerry. I think I would pass out if I got a solar transit with a Lancaster! That's a shame they didn't make it over for you. I am feeling a bit battered having sat out in that wind waiting for the gaps!! Good to see the jets!
