  1. Mike is that all insulated and gap proofed I am thinking of getting a 10" dob and getting a small shed to put it in so I can just wheel it out. I was just thinking about moisture getting in.

  3. I need a quick set up I am seriously looking at the 10" Celestron Starsense dobs. I was out yesterday morning at 4.45 Orion was spectacular the best I have seen it in a while but it would take me an hour set up by myself and could not really get my son up to help. Glad you had a look at Orion. Paul

  5. I would like a Televue 3-6 zoom but other than that I am sticking to the ones I have. I have a few BST`s couple of Meade`s one Televue plossl but my absolute favourite is a Vixen silver top 10mm wow the views through it is amazing.

  7. I would of liked more information on smartphone astrophotography I can take good pictures of the sun but at night I cannot get anything. Tried Saturn and Jupiter the other night no joy again.

  9. Nearly every one of those won't hold my weight so I have had to do with makeshift ones.
  10. I have these, I have just bought the Collapsible one for the weight capacity. I got the ironing chair for £2 it had no back on it I need to make a better back rest.
  11. That is a good idea if I need another one I could do this I use two on my 4" so if I have to use two on the 5" this would be a cheaper option and because its an extra one I wouldn't need it to go all the way around so thanks for that.

  13. They are all 12v I have already got a 12v one but dont want trailing cables I want to be able to wrap the cable around the scope and plug it into my pawer pack.
  14. They are 12v Mike I want 5v (USB) so I can use a power bank to power them.
  15. Can any body tell me where I can purchase a 5v at least 50cm long dew band to fit my 5" scope please.
