  1. Yes I used binoculars to scan the horizon once sun had gone. I travel about 15 minutes to get to this location, Hackpen Hill, great for the south west thru to north east for a clear horizon.? Peter

  21. I was also at the same place, great views of the eclipse and the weather was very clear. Notice the temperature dropped pretty quickly when the sun got near the horizon? Peter

  24. Jeremy, Now I know why it is cloudy in 'Swindon, your 'Box of Clouds' escaped and went south! I also looked at Jupiter last night, shining bright in the southern sky even made out alpha Libya (a constellation I have never really looked at?). Happy viewing. Peter
  25. The WX eye pieces are very good, I use them most of the time when I go out and do some viewing, if ever the clouds will go away!
