Been a spending

The cloud has seen me spending. I now have the eq5 pro mount with a scope I was not going to keep but now am. A eqdir USB kit, extra imaging webcam, t ring for dslr, a modded finder with webcam in to be used as an auto guider, a USB gps for when using the scopes with the laptop to get the settings as accurate as possible for the goto. Now to work out how it all plugs together once it arrives

missed opportunities

last night was the first clear night in days and I have been ill. I am hoping the clouds will lift for next weekend as I am away for work all week and will be fishing in the week so stargazing is the activity of choice on my return.

Cloudy, cloudy nights

I am really getting I to this astronomy lark right now and have also passed the bug to a friend who is now out shopping. The cloudy weather is really annoying now though as I am just itching to get out and have another session.
