  1. I'd love to make one of these. However, based on my feeble attempts to even get a simple dob mount square, I think it is beyond me with my current tools and experience. Looks good though.

      Yup it was a bargain, but only because i purchased a £200 telescope 2 years ago :D

  3. Found M40, M97, M108, M109, M81 and M82 already, and streelights aren't even off yet! Roll on midnight.

      Sounds like you had a good night. Wish our streetlights went off at midnight. People round here get scared if one bulb goes out!

      Indeed it does. I did some OU stuff a few years back. Was so nice to be able to do more or less when I wanted.

      Nope! Glass was £8 or £9, but meh, the telrad didn't cost me anything to start with, so still up.

  12. Wow! The TMB Planetary II 6mm is a cracking eyepiece.

  13. Less than 24 hours after shipping, my TMB Planetary II has turned up!!! :-)

  14. Succombed to temptation and purchased a 6mm TMB Planetary II from Sky's the Limit.

  15. My 5 year old Acer POS laptop lives on thanks to my ...errrr... unique soldering skills.

      M33? There's also NGC670,672,750,777,890,925 and 949 in Triangulum! plenty to see!
