Quick session this morning, the seeing was the usual wobbly affair. There are plenty of active regions at the moment but the largest and most dramatic was AR3032. Here's the Ha view, normal and inverted.

My first look at the complex group AR3014, lovely and clear for just 1/2 an hour then (surprise surprise 🤪) the clouds rolled in so no chance of an HA view.

Finally got a break in the clouds and just enough time to get a white light image of AR3004. I did get a very quick view in HA and this active region is certainly fizzin, hopefully it'll provide some good solar action over the coming week (clouds permitting).

I tried fiddling with the colour saturation, it seemed your original had very little 🤔

Do it it's fun 👍, you just need a couple of hours of good seeing (which is a rarity) 🌞

The weather looked promising yesterday for imaging so decided to have a go at a time lapse. Turned out the seeing was all over the place ranging from good to awful, very apparent in the resulting TL ☹️ Covers about 80mins (115 frames), 130mm frac and quark.

Certainly is, although the weather forecast for me doesn't include much in the way sun over the next few days. Finger crossed for lots more solar activity over the summer months 🤞

Some great solar viewing today, the active region is really fizzin 😲 Here's a couple of HA images (normal & inverse) from this morning. Hope you all get the chance to see the sun today.

Some chunky spots coming into view. The weather did look promising early on this morning but needless to say soon became hazy and then cloudy 😡 This is a very nice active group of spots and will certainly provide some good solar entertainment this week if the weather cooperates🤞
