not very good conditions lots of thin cloud and the sun was hogging the roof tops but managed my first view with the double stack filter on the lunt60...WOW what a difference, sun just pops out and smacks you in the face

managed a couple of quick captures but with the conditions less than 25% of the 200 frames were stacked (riddled with cloud)

2x barlow comparison between single and double stacked with about the same processing on each

Had to do a side by side and convince myself that its 1700 well spent, ill have to wait till next year or find a new location to image, just as he clears the trees hes running straight into roof tops

feels like it
1 night of clear skies and dew killed that around 2 am in the last 2 weeks
feels like I'm living on Venus with all this cloud :(

and I'm in London for a week from Sun and even in Kingston my view of the sky is postage stamp sized :(

Nice!  I bought my Lunt 80mm a few months back, with the idea that I'd upgrade to the double stack in the next year or two. I'll show this comparison to my wife in the hope that she will see the sense in my plan too ;-)
