October 25, 2014: Finally caught the monster

Just captured the sun in H-alpha and a bit of white light. The white light snap was just one of the monster using my APM 80mm TV Powermate 2.5x, Herschel Wedge, Baader Solar Continuum Filter. Stack in AS!2, LR deconvolution in Astra Image, postprocessing (curves and unsharp masking) in GIMP.

Great image Michael. I just flipped it to check my sketch and I was not far off. I got a short window of about 15 minutes just now thankfully. It is MASSIVE.
