M101 Deep Field

Hi everyone,

2 weeks ago I joined Maurice Toet (http://www.dutchdeepsky.com) for an imaging week in Southern France.

Although we did not have the best of weather, I managed to collect enough photons to complete my M101 image.

The image was made with a 10" f/3.8 Newtonian on a Mesu 200 mount, the total exposure is about 23 hours.

The h-alpha data was acquired from my very light polluted home location.

Please refer to my website if you are interested in more details.

And here a shot of the equipment used:

Thanks for looking,

Best Regards,
