Jupiter in broad daylight . . . and why not . . .

Just finished shooting the Moon at 4pm and thought I'd slew over to Jupiter as he was nearby . . .

Couldn't pick him out with the binocular but the Canon got him just fine. . . .

Really pleased with the result , even got Ganymede on the left and Europa on the right if you look really close . . . . . . not too shabby on the warmest , sunniest afternoon of the year so far . . .

1000D + ED80Pro + 1.8 x Barlow.

1/80s @ ISO 100 , 90/100 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp2.8.

Hi fab effort took me a bit to spot the moons but got them in the end, like the detail can see the bands on jupiter.

Very neatly done, Steve Just come in from a bit of Jupiter imaging myself, but I waited until it was dark, and cold.

Nice capture Steve, it makes a change from your excellent solar pictures. I like pictures of the moon taken on a cool crisp morning in clear blue sky, like your picture of Jupiter they look really spectacular.

Great capture there! I can make out two moons, and I think the GRS is there too. Very good considering it was daylight!

GRS transit time was 15:49 ,

I guess that I must have got it . . . not that it's overly clear . . .

But considering the original image scale I'm not surprise . . .

I might be biased here but I do love a nice blue sky, none of these alien red, green or whatever colour skies you see in the sci-fi movies. Blue all the way for me, infact Earth's colour scheme is amazing.
