Jupiter, steps ?

Hi, wondered if you could share your thoughts on this...

it's not often we see the images as they are being created at the various steps, so i wondered if these are similar to what others are seeing

I image in the back garden, pretty close to house so not the best place really.

What do you think ?

edit ---- Imaged using a C8 edge / Reducer and 2.5 x revelation barlow giving approx f 20 and ASI 120 mc

Cheers guys, is this similar to what you are seeing ? it would be nice to actually watch somebody else imaging to compare.

There are some amazing images of Jupiter on the forum and it makes me wonder am I talentless, have inferior equipment, live in a poor seeing area or just unlucky

I like it, yes there are images showing slightly more detail but in my opinion they can often look kind of false and unnatural in some way.

As someone who has just started with the whole imaging and stacking thing, your image is the sort of thing I aspire too, don't be too critical of yourself it's very good.
