Saturn 4-April-2011

Here is my latest attempt at Saturn with my single axis motor drive, 2x Barlow and SPC900 webcam. 2000 frames stacked in Registax. One of them might actually be 4000 frames stacked.

Tried a Revelation 5x Barlow but it far exceeds the capability of my scope as I couldn't get a good focus so going to probably sell it and get something else. Might try it on the moon first though.

Don't give up on 5x barlow, your scope will be ok at f25. Seeing has to be good though and some nights good images are not possible. Just gotta stick at it.

I tried the moon with the 5x barlow last night and I couldn't get anything from it at all. Well, I got some details but the accuracy of focus was very small and you could see the shape of the second small mirror in the image.

I'm going to bang it on ebay I think.

Ive seen lots of images using the 5x Barlow with the 150p, was thinking of getting one

I have the same scope, mines the DS version, and I used the x5 revelaton on mine, agreed the image isn't the best but I am going to keep trying
