M13 is brilliant! a favourite or many and its easy to see why, it has given me a breathtaking view when the power is increased, 9mm Nagler giving 261x, it just blows you away when so many stars are revealed!

M13 was the first dso i ever viewed, i had a little st80 at the time

M13 is a brilliant site, next time your out also have a look at M3 between Bootes an Coma Berenices, it's a little bit dimmer at 6.4 mag.

Globulars are great things to view, one of my favourite objects. Don`t forget M92 in Hercules as well, that is a fine sight too.

Definitely ramp the power up on M13 if you can in some decent seeing. There is so much to see in it. I love the chains of stars that spiral out from it. An awesome sight.

M13 is spectacular. I really didnt spend enough time on it the first (and last) time i observed it.

hi all, i'm really new to this so having trouble working out how to use sgl.I'm well happy cos I just saw mercury, got some gorgeous skies tonight so Im going to view saturn a bit later. I think I'm gonna try and find my first galaxy while I'm waiting. should be fun.
