M35 and NGC 2158 Final (Unguided)

Well after quite a bit of faffing about here is my M35 final image.

It was taken over two nights giving a total of 38x2min subs. (These were (very) rigorously selected from a total of 125 subs).

SW 200P and Canon 1000D, ISO 800, at prime focus on an unguided HEQ5 syntrek mount.

Processing in DSS and PS CS5.

That is the perfect cluster image....brilliant. You've managed what 98% of cluster images fail to do.......retain star colour. Your image is vibrant and has punch. Doesn't look like a bunch of white dots on a screen.

A real gem and my fav image i've seen this week.
