Planisphere

Recommended Posts

I actually bought mine yesterday (15th Jan) from WH Smith, altho it was £8. I know Waterstones do stock it, but it's listed as "Re-printing" and the staff just look at you when you as for it, so I just said "Star charts". Saw this one in WH Smiths yesterday, but it looked about 6 inches in diameter, Philips Mini Stargazer 3-in-1 binocular astronomy set (guide book, map & planisphere)

Hope it helps you any?

I need some advice on where I can get hold of a decent planisphere.

It would appear to extremely hard to get the Philips version anymore so are there any other decent versions around?

Thanks people!

You might want to look at the Global Mapping Planisphere which got a good review in January's Astronomy Now! And there are plenty in stock!
