Here's my M42 and running man

I guess everyone has to have a go at this image. Last night was mostly clear and I have just got a new 2" SkyWatcher LPR filter so I though I would try it out.

Taken from my back garden in Gloucester about 23.00hrs.

Explorer 150P on EQ3-2 (plonk and point PA 'caus I was only doing a quick test )

Canon 1000D, MaxDSLR adaptor with 2" LPR

24x 90s @ ISO800 (took 50 and tossed half away because of dodgy tracking )

20x Darks

No Flats (again!)

Stacked in DSS, butchered in PSe7
