Clouded out for geminids

Clouds completely blocking any chance of genomics tonight :-( Anyone got any past experience regarding the ZHR a day or two after peak? I'm pretty new to meteor watching, so I'm not sure if there's any point holding out til tomorrow!

Just poped out, patchy cloud in Belfast was out for 1o mins and saw 5 excellent meteors all but 1 seen in Andromeda/Cassiopia area.Hope it clears:rolleyes:

I was out imaging Orion all night and was seeing around one every couple of minutes. It was not a spectacular show and not a single one landed in my image, to my surprise. TBH I had forgotten about the Geminids this year but it was instantly clear that something was going on.

S. E. France, Lat 44.19N, very clear, dry sky. Temp -6C.

Ditto here with the cloud. Looked promising around 6pm but went completely down the toilet soon after.

I got out about 11:30 and seen 2 meteor's whizz past which was great to see but like yourself and many other's the cloud's rolled in and that was that, will keep an eye out tonight though.

Cloud here also last night. Today is nice and sunny but cold. I'll have my nose pressed against a window tonight for sure.

I'm going to have a listen to 'Space Radio' again. If I can't see them, I'll listen for them!
