Jupiter animation

Gave my new HEQ5 a test drive tonight

decided to have a go at making a little animation, sadly i only got 6 frames at 15 minute intervals before the clouds rolled in...

the last frame was easily the best image, with Europa just peering over the limb of Jupiter

Thanks, I would like to find more things to make gifs of really, capturing the intricacies of the celestial clockwork has a certain allure when so much of what we observe is essentially static.

Other than the changing phases of Venus or the Moon perhaps, i can't really think of any other suitable target... Saturn has a similar rotation period, but lacks such distinguishing surface features, and the moons are probably too faint to show up on my spc880 (I'll certainly try though!).

Still, theres plenty fun to be had with Jupiter I think
