I've seen $2000 on the USA market for those OTAs. Only note that those bright orange OTAs have >= 40 years. My black one (Super C8) has almost 30 years. It kicks but you can see a bit of age on the mirrors.

And you have to do a bit of ATM to attach dovetail to it (or add rings with a dovetail).

Orion Optics UK can recoat the mirrors and add Hilux. They may also be able to recoat the corrector as well.

Russ i thought that £80 was a typo at first, till i checked it out!

I'm down at Astroadventures nr Barnstaple next weekend-unlikely the C14 wil still be around but if it is i might go have a look

Is that a SCT or a Schmidt camera? From what I remember, a Schmidt camera is similar to a SCT with hyperstar, and it's imaging only. Am I right?

It's a SCT, standard C14. Something close to schmidt camera was "Celestron Comet Catcher" - 140mm (5.5") f/3.6:

It's a standard C14, I had a quick look and emailed the guy as he thought it was a schmidt camera and wanted a HUGE sum for it. Sounds like a good bargain, but then it will probably be worth checking over first.
