where you from helen? im origionally from the sirhowy valley frm oakdale but im in the RCT now cos of glam uni get darker skys at home too!

oh and to top it off its just started to rain as well

Clear, cold, frosty...

I spent a while setting up...then high mist rolled in, the scopes dewed up and now I'm back indoors......

Was clear driving home but high thin stuff is moving in, very deep low heading our way with storm force winds......just locked down the obsy roof.....make sure yours is too.

Well I went back out snapped a not very clear pic of Capella but gotta learn the dsi

One thing any one no what the twisty right eyepiece in the celestron skywarcher 15x70 binos. It dnt say in instructions

The twisty bit is to adjust for differences in vision between your eyes if you wear glasses. The trick is (easier in daylight) to close your right eye and focus with the centre focusser, then close your left eye and adjust the twisty bit until your right eye is focussed too.

ahh i see i wondered why it was getting a little clearer, but it felt werid as i was doing it with both eyes open....

the river opersite my house (river taff) is neally to the middle of the measuring stick lol hopefully we wont flood!!

hopefully todays shift will go nice and quickly......just gotta find my hivis coat!!
