Moon mosaic 9 November

6 frame mosaic using ED80 and Televue 2x Barlow on undriven alt-az.

It was fairly low when I captured this, so the middle is a bit dodgy in places.

I've reduced it in size by 50% and heavily compressed it also.

Sorry, should have given some details...

Bog standard ToUcam Pro II with Atik IR/UV filter.

6-point MAP processing on each pane with Registax 4

minimal wavelets (between 7-9 on wavelet 3)

stitched in iMerge

cleaned up bmp in Paintshop Pro 9 (slight contrast adjustment, despeckle, minimal unsharp mask)

then save the image as grayscale (as blue channel tends to be slightly out of line when Moon is low on horizon)

save as bmp then as compressed jpeg for posting here.....

...and that's about it!
