Made a start on the Veil, this is 26x15min subs so far over two hot and humid nights from London. Still noisy so intend capturing plenty more of this.

My problem with noise in this area of sky is the sheer number of stars you have to deal with during processing!

Thanks John & Steve. Yes, Steve, the stars can overwhelm the nebula. I do some selective star reductions using Noels Actions in photoshop.

Very fine, Malcolm. You have the Ultimate Weapons for this target in the FSQ and Art 11000!

Do you plan an O111 layer? I got an exciting monochrome image by combining Ha and O111 without treating them as colour layers.

Thanks Olly, James. Olly - I will try the OIII combine. Unfortunately clouds and rain have appeared for the first time in weeks. Inevitable, I guess...we live near Wimbledon!
