Wait for the moon to be in a more crescent phase and point your phone at the terminator

( the bit between the sunlit part of the moon and the dark bit)

Much better detail to be had then and you'll get some pictures that will knock your socks off

Handy things those camera phones, you can take a picture and order a pizza at the same time 8)
