Just wanted to say hello to everyone and a big thank you.

I purchased my first scope in January and have read so many reviews and good advice on this site helping me choose my equipment. Just a pity the weather hasn't helped :(

I have already written an equipment wish list but am too scared to add it up :)

A warm welcome to SGL

I'd recommend you to learn all about your scope and mount first, appreciate what they can do before you are tempted to part with any of your hard earned cash. The hobby of ours can become an easy way of emptying your pockets! :)

Thanks for the friendly hellos.

I live in Retford and have so far managed to convince my wife that the telescope is not a mid live crisis.

I am just waiting for the neighbour to turn off his upstairs light so I can make the most of the beautiful night.
