Hi Evereyone,

Nice to meet you all. Im Sarah and Im 21 from London.

Im a very amateur amateur astronomer. I have always loved the stars but have only recently started to get into actually doing anything about this. I have got some very nice binoculars and am enjoying getting very lost when looking at the sky.

At least you made something about your interest in astronomy at a younger age then many of us!

It comes with a list of good targets for binos.

You can also install this great (free!) software: Stellarium

Fill in your location and voilá, you get a simulation of the sky for your location. Although I guess a lot of what it shows won't be visible due to London's light pollution.

Yes London's light pollution is very irritating! At the moment im at home with my parents in Wales and its fantastic! I miss the stars so much when im in london.

I know the basics, orion, the plough ect but after that i get a bit stuck! And Ive never seen anything more than stars, like galaxies or planetary nebula or anything like that but I hope to soon.

Well Im being forced to stay in Wales at the moment due to my boyfriend being sick atm so while im here Im having a beautiful view of Mars.
