got it finished B33

well i didnt think i would get it finished so soon...you all must be sick of this object by now

the final image total 2hours and 50mins 70mins in Ha, 40mins in red and 30mins in blue and green.....this was taken with Orange Bright Optics filters, none UV/IR blocked......the star colour was a little more tricky pull out with these filters

im quite pleased with this shot...... the final render was Ha, RGB the extra colour has taken out alot of the noise and removed the green gradient i had in the other version

I recently captured this in Narrowband but prefer the Ha RGB combination. Impressive colour and depth with pinpiont stars, not easy to keep Alnitak tight

Great result and very colourful. Clear nights are too muddy and breezy for me. Those filters give good results as your Alnitak is well controlled and other halos are not too bad as they are faint + soft. John.
