M45 with a bit of manual guiding!!

Managed to get out for an hour tonight and used my new skywatcher illuminated eyepiece to guide. Anyway, images is a combination of the following:-

5 x 3 minutes

5 x 40 sec

5 x dark

5 x flats

Curves and levels played about with in photoshop. (hopefully will be more proficient at this when I recieve "photoshop astronomy":D

Taken with Ian King 70, guided by skywatcher 200p.

A good image for manual guiding, nice round stars for 3min subs, background is still a bit dark, it may be possible to extract more data by lightening up a bit. Well done.

That's a nice start. I reckon there's more nebulosity there to pull out with a few more gentle curve adjustments.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm really enjoying the manual guiding, was out again tonight on M45, 7 minutes into a 10 minute exposure when tapping control to make a minor adjustment the motor decided to keep going:( Still managed a few 5 minute exposures which look ok. Now for the processing!!
