NGC7662 - Blue snowball nebula

With the moon high in the sky I choose this planetary nebula in Andromeda as it has quite a high surface brightness (subs were 45 seconds to avoid burning it out!).

I'm pleased with how it's come out given the moonlit haze that was floating around.

Scope was LX90LNT at 1500mm (F6) with H9 camera on the EQ6 mount.

Exposure was 27 * 45sec L and 4 * 2min R,G,B.

Thanks for looking,

Rich.

A little beauty here Rich, and well named, as the colour shows very well.

I'm very pleased to see a DSO Imaged by a LX90.

They are rare on SGL. What size is the scope 8 10 or 12".?

The subs were 45 seconds, so I'm assuming there was no guiding.

Is your mount on a wedge.?

Sorry about all the questions Rich. but I have a 12" LX90 LNT 12", So I take a special interest in Users of the scope.

Thanks very much. You're right Tim it was there on the 1 sec focusing subs. It also seemed to be able to shine through the high clouds that were around. Nice M31 by the way:)

I nearly went for the F10 option but bottled it Kevin! Next time I think:)

Cheers,

Rich.
