Soul Nebula

Hi,

last night I did some frames of the soul nebula.

9x900s, ISO800 with 350da and Pentax 75 SDHF

I never did 900s frames before.

great werner! 900 seconds is a merit. It helps with a wide field of view though ;-) How did the 350 cope with the longer subs? Lots of amp glow?

I've been doing 7 minute subs with the soul nebula lately, bit I can see now that 15 is probably the way to go. My 7 minute shots are don't show of the nebula like in your image.

That's a great capture, the framing looks spot on and the details show up really well.

Yes, a very faint object. I checked some pics in the www and decided to risk 900s. And I had no problems with the amp glow. That was surprising. So I can say, Glenn, go on with 900s. It should work.
