Hello,

I thought it was about time I had Introduce myself since I sined up a few days ago.

Well as you have noticed my name is Philip R. I Live in Lower Earley, Berkshire, England. (coordinates 51° 25′ 29.8 N, 0° 55′ 44″ W)*

I have owned and parted company with few telescopes over the light-years. My first telescope was a 40x 40mm Tasco refractor which my father gave me for my 14th birthday - and 'yes' I could see the rings of Saturn with it.

My present equipment is as follows:-

TeleVue Ranger

Meade ETX105

TeleVue 15mm & 8mm plossel e/p

TeleVue 6mm radian e/p

TeleVue 3-6mm clickstop zoom e/p

Meade 20mm plossel e/p

an unknown .965inch 6mm orthoscopic e/p with 1.25inch adaptor

Tele-Optic Giro DX (mkll) mount

Manfrotto 055PRO tripod (planning to upgrade to a heavy duty tripod within the next few months)

Sony 7x50 binoculars

Olympus C2040 digital camera...

TeleVue

I mainly obseverve the Moon, the Sun and the planets as I suffer with light pollution.
